Permanent lighting track guide
Track decides whether a permanent lighting install disappears by day or announces itself. This guide covers the profiles we stock, how to count sticks for a roofline, and the two accessories that make the difference between fitted and finished.
What the track does
Aluminum channel, mounted to fascia or soffit, that seats the LED pucks in a straight line and conceals the wiring. Colour-matched to the trim, it reads as part of the house. Every profile we stock ships as a 6.78 ft stick with 10 mounting holes, and all profiles take the same lights — so profile choice is about the mounting surface, not compatibility.

How many sticks does a roofline need?
Measure the run in feet and divide by 6.78, rounding up per continuous run — corners and breaks start a new stick. A 100 ft front elevation is 15 sticks; a wrap with two 30 ft sides adds 5 more each.
Fastening and finishing
- Screws by the box — 10 holes per stick; 9/16" track screws come 100 to a box. Count sticks, round up a box.
- Colour before commitment — the colour swatch deck matches track to Wayne's and Royal trim ranges on site, in daylight, before the order is placed.
