Permanent Lighting Controllers

The controller is the brain of a permanent lighting system: it drives the lights, holds the scenes and schedules, and is what your customer actually touches after the crew leaves. Speccing the right controller — and enough power behind it — is most of what separates a clean install from a callback.

We stock single-channel and 4-channel controllers and a Surplife option, each configurable with a 350 W, 450 W or 600 W power supply at order time, plus a data booster for keeping the control signal clean on long runs.

How installers choose

  • Channels — A channel is an independently controlled output. Single-channel suits one continuous zone; a 4-channel controller runs up to four zones — front, sides, gables — from one box.
  • Power supply sizing — Every controller here is offered with a 350 W (standard), 450 W or 600 W supply. Larger homes and denser layouts call for more headroom.
  • Long runs — When the data path gets long, a data booster helps the control signal arrive intact.
